I am a professional software developer in my early thirties interested in the concept of neocities and returning to the old web/simple web sites.

I'm tired of modern web development where it seems there's constantly a new framework or js library that's the big new thing and it always seems to be slower and more bloated than the last.

I'd really like to explore web design in a much cleaner and more stripped down way, while still able to make websites that are full of interesting information, fun art and tools, and impressive effects.

If we can do all of that with just plain html, css, and javascript, I really think it would make the web a better place to explore the world around us and communicate with others. I'm already so impressed with so many other web sites on neocities!

I'm a trans woman from Appalachia who has been married since I was 18! It's been a real ride but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm trying to take part in a lot more creative activities, like drawing, writing and game development, so I might upload stuff here at some point. No promises!

I also DM for a couple of DnD groups so I might make a page for resources or upload handouts here so I can send people the links if necessary. My favourite campaign setting is Eberron... maybe I'll make a shrine to it to show my love sometime!

Finally, we bought a house last year, so I'm finally able to have a garden! I love it so far and I can't wait for next year to have even more plants! 😳
